I have a Silencerco Specwar 7.62 on form 3 right now at my LGS (along with a Specwar 5.56, 2 Octane 45's and a DD MK188) , and am going to install the Trifecta flash hider on my SCAR 17. I was told by a Silencerco rep that no shims or spacer are needed and that all I need to do for install is make sure that the barrel and flash hider are concentric. My question is, how hard is it to visually confirm the concentricity of the barrel and flash hider? Is this something I should be able to do myself, or should I leave the task to a gunsmith? Also, does anyone know the recommended torque specs for the flash hider? Thanks for any help! Oh! and here's a picture of my SCAR 17.
Oct 08, 2013 I bought a Surefire flash hider and a Tapco armorers wrench and the wrench was too small to fit over the flash hider. Dao tucked hair mod. So I bought a Wheeler armors wrench and that was too small as well. Mitsubishi delica 1991 manual. The gunsmith at the LGS said that Surefire has a proprietary size flash hider and that I would have to pay him to install it. Black ops 2 mods download.
Aac Flash Hider Tool
- Using a wrench, socket, or other suitable tool, Turn the Brake 1/4turn/90degrees PLUS enough to clock it properly. (Proper crush washers are machined from spring steel and will compress, and at 1/4turn will reach and maintain a rotational torque of 20-28ft/lbs until completely flat.
- Feb 15, 2018 I guess my reasoning is that you want a prong on the 6 o'clock position for the same reason the A2 Birdcage flash hider is closed on the bottom. Without really good technical info to the contrary that's how I'll have it installed. If you look at a Valmet M76 flash hider it appears they followed this pattern.
